Arturo was born in Mexico City and is currently majoring on Communications. He loves film and someday wants to be a succesful director.
Reason for being here:
I'm here because this is my social service. I chose this one because I really like everything that has to do with ecology. I like to think that I'm doing something to save nature because it's less vile than the human being. I think that the work that organizations like CEA does is definitely helping improve the world as we know it, and that's why I chose to come here for my social service and not some place else. It doesn't matter how insignificant helping a turtle lay her eggs, or marking a nest, or taking care of the coral reef might seem, if we all start by doing little things, in the end everything adds up and maybe we manage to change our situation.
Arturo is making a video of the Turtle Camp for tourists and new volunteers. He arrived at CEA on May 20th and is leaving on July 14.
